U16s Girls’ Hockey Team

Welcome to all current and future OMT U16 players!  Our coaching development plan has a focus on fun, technical skill development and tactical understanding.

Sport in an environment of support and quality can help children build confidence and apply themselves to develop and commit to personal development and a team. Our aim is to support every child in their development, through hockey as an outlet, but also as an opportunity to express themselves and build positive connections with those around them.

Capped Numbers

We cap our numbers at 22 to ensure that the coaching and service standard stays as high as possible. Places are limited. Join now!

Training for the U16 girls team will takes place on Tuesday evening from 18:00-19:30. Unless adverse weather conditions make it dangerous to travel training sessions will always take place. If the pitches are frozen there will be an off-pitch session which will be active and/or technical, featuring yoga.

Where to find us

Our training and home matches happen on one of our two water-based astroturfs at Merchant Taylors’ School Northwood.

OMT Hockey Club

We have two state-of-the-art hockey astroturf pitches. In addition, our fantastic OMT War Memorial Clubhouse will be open every Sunday for parents to gather, socialise and make use of the bar facility.

Our men’s teams have been playing 50 years. We now have a women’s section and as part of our 50th year anniversary have added a Junior’s section that will become a leading light in coaching youth as well as community hockey.
